How can I place an order? What is the process?

Each order will be discussed within the consultation.

1. The purchase of $50 is a design consultation fee. Make this purchase in order to start the process.
2. Our team will reach out to coordinate an appointment with you and the artist. Please leave your information upon checking out.
3. You will answer a series of questions from the artist, describing the type of art you would like to bring to life. 
4. Our team will contact you, detailing the price and projected timeline. First half of the payment will be due upon purchase and the rest upon shipment. 
5. We will be in touch with you along the way, to make sure your vision is coming to life as you desire.
6. Creation of the art piece will take about 45 days. Shipment will be about 10 days.

What will the artist need from me during the consultation?

1. A photo or drawn image describing of what you are looking for.
2. Dimensions
3. Desired material to be used; such as rosewood, teakwood, sandalwood, etc (the artist will discuss options for you as well).

What is Indian Woodcraft Decor?

Indian woodcraft decor is created through a meticulous process that begins with selecting high-quality wood, such as sandalwood, teak, or rosewood. Artisans sketch traditional motifs, nature-inspired designs, or religious themes onto the wood and carve them with precision using hand tools. For inlay work, contrasting materials like wood or ivory substitutes are embedded into the design. The piece is then sanded, polished, and sometimes painted or adorned with gold leaf for added elegance. Finally, any components are assembled, and the decor is refined, resulting in a handcrafted piece that showcases India's rich artistic heritage.

• Wall Panels and Plaques: Ornamental wooden panels depicting mythological scenes, floral motifs, or traditional patterns, perfect for home decor.

• Home Utility Items: Wooden coasters, trays, key holders, or pen stands with artistic carvings or designs.

Who is the artist? 

The artist we work is from Mysore, India. Starting with his grandfather, the skilled was been passed down to him from his father. Potentially, he might be one of the last artists of his kind. For now, he is shy to be seen, but someday we will be able to share videos of him working, as most work is amazingly done with basic tools. 

The artist has worked with legends around the world, including Sadhguru.

What am I seeing on this page? 

This page shows raw photos of a few items that have been custom ordered. These items in particular are religious, depicting Hindu gods for a well established client's home temple. You can order anything you find suitable for your home and lifestyle.
